MAGNETFILM is a Berlin-based boutique world sales company, founded in 2003. We specialize in premium feature documentaries and short films, managing global licensing across all platforms such as broadcasters, streamers, airlines, and all-rights distributors.
Our documentary Line-up covers diverse genres, including arts, culture, music, geopolitics, science, and human rights. In the short film space, we focus on animation and live-action, with many festival hits, Oscar® nominees or winners, and a particular fondness for children’s shorts.
Our goal is to maximize revenues, expand audience reach, and enhance visibility, all while supporting the creative vision behind our films. Whether working with established producers or emerging talents, we create a unique festival and distribution strategy for each film.
We regularly participate in leading film festivals and content markets helping us to nurture and expand and our global network of festival programmers, content buyers, commissioning editor and distributors.
